Thanksgiving holiday

  I think all of us in UPA are looking forward to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday for a long time. Most of my friends in this class are first time to come to the U.S. I think they might need some help for traveling or shopping somewhere in that holiday. For me, I went to Chicago last semester in the Thanksgiving holiday and I got lots of fun there. I went to see the Cloud Gate, shopping in the outlets, enjoy my hometown food in the China town in Chicago. I also enjoy driving by the way, I enjoy taking my friends to somewhere we all like it. I'm a reassuring driver in my circle of friends, they all like to go somewhere with me because they all feel comfortable in my car. In this holiday, I'm planing to go to the Chicago again and try to find some fun there, go to somewhere I didn't travel to before.
  I always had a yearning to go to somewhere I didn't travel to. In the U.S, I want to go to the Seattle because I think that is a really beautiful place that lots of people would like to choose there to be their vacationland. I will go there in the summer if I have enough time, however it is not likely because I will have my summer classes next year. How disappointed.
  Whatever, I hope all of us include my professors will have a good vacation next week. I wish they all will have a good time in the Thanksgiving holiday.

  This weekend I started writing my first draft of research paper. My topic is charactor analysis of Coco Chanel. I think she is a very famous designer in the world and also she got a lot of influence with her products. I think this paper is not difficult to write because I know her very much. However, it is also not that easy because everybody know her very well, that makes me have to write some thing that other people don't know, to get more points for my paper.
  I spent one day stay in the library and try to find some information about her, then I learned a lot from those books I found. It's different between the U.S paper's rules and Chinese university's rules. In China, students can use others opinion without citations, and also we don't have to give a reference. These rules are completely opposite in the U.S. However, I think the rules here in America is better because the original author should be respected.
  I hope I could get a good grade on my final research paper. Fighting!

Today I leaned how to cook some new Chinese traditional foods from my mother on the phone. Then I tried to cook them, and I made it. They were very delicious, my friends and I were enjoying it very much. I hope some days all my friends can try my food and I'm very confident they'll all enjoy them.
Traditional Chinese food is not very difficult to cook, the first secret is just be confident and try the new type of cooking. I know that almost all the people around the world like to eat Chinese food, however they don't have enough time to cook. That's a problem. I hope all the people can eat what they want in the future.

  I heard some bad news these days, Ebola is be found in New York and few people die because of that disease. Human has been fight against the rare disease from of old until now, however no disease cannot be solved. The medical scientist is very powerful that can help us find all kind of cure. We should be gratefully and thank to them.

Today I watched a movie names The Giver with my friends. I was shocked. I got lots of different thoughts after watched this movie. It's different between the movie and the book we read before. I was touched by the actors in the movie. After read this book, I was hope that I can be Jonas in that movie to help those people to feel the real world, instead of living in that community. I would like to be a adventurer like Jonas, especially for a better world for the humanity.

The trip to Peoria

         We are going to the Peoria this weekend, I am so excited because I heard that I'll be able to buy some Chinese food there. I miss my hometown's favor very much so I'm going to see what can I find there.
          There are lots of differences between Chinese food and American food. For example, for Chinese food people don't usually use too much meat like American food. And I prefer eat vegetables also.
           As for the main food, American people like to eat bread or rice sometimes. But in my hometown, we prefer eat "mantou", a kind of food that very difficult to find it in the America.
           My purpose this weekend is to make my refrigerator full of "mantou". Because the winter is coming I will not be able to go to other town in the heavy snow. I have to save some food to spend the time in winter.

I went to spring lake with my friends today but we did not have a great time in there. Because one of my friend lost her phone and we tried 3 times to help her find her phone, however we cannot find anything. Then we left sadly, she was planning her new phone at that time. Thankfully I have a app names "Find my iPhone", it gives the important message to the people who found her phone. Finally, a man called my phone and told me his position, then I got there and have her phone back.

It is a really dramatic day for us, we all feel so tired right now.
